Westhill Road, Shanklin, IW

Where to begin with this one?! Whilst the property has all mod cons (including an amazing pool I am so tempted to try out!), so much of the original character of the house shines through. It’s also wonderfully bright and sunny, something you don’t always get in a property of this age. The garden is beautiful, the double garage has a remote controlled door, the tower would be great for a relative’s annexe and I could imagine wonderful parties on the roof terrace. There’s SO much to love here, you really do need to see it to take it all in!
This spacious and beautifully appointed four bedroom property forms a substantial part of the historic Westhill Manor with the main accommodation arranged over two floors. The entrance level houses a superb drawing room, generously proportioned kitchen/dining room, galleried landing/study area, elegant master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and cloakroom. Stairs lead down to the garden level which houses a further two exceptionally large double bedrooms, both with luxurious en-suite facilities. Also on this level is a useful utility room, games room/gym and pool room housing a fabulous raised 'endless' swimming pool. The sunny accommodation is filled with period character with stone mullioned windows and french doors holding sealed unit double glazed units. The property is gas centrally heated and enjoys its own beautifully landscaped gardens with a sunny paved patio and colourful planting. In addition, the adjoining Tower has two garden rooms on the lower level and accommodation providing a one bedroom annexe over the next two floors. There is also access to a large roof terrace which enjoys fabulous views of the sea, cricket club and surrounding countryside. Plenty of allocated parking can be found in the gated courtyard and to the side of the building as well as in the double garage. With its tucked away positioning and amazingly spacious, well appointed accommodation, the property is sure to appeal to a wide variety of potential purchasers.
