Historic Quay Street really is one of the most elegant roads on the Island and the group of numbers 43-46 is a very pretty early 19th century row. Both the pretty sage green doors to the front belong to number 44 – one is the front door, one leads to the covered side access to the garden. And what a garden – it’s a proper ‘Secret Garden’ with a beautiful wall around. Such a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. I love it!
