It’s not often I am totally bowled over by a house but I am proud to admit I am totally smitten with this fabulous property. The owners have poured their heart and souls into the careful, total renovation of this historically important house. This includes adding a completely sympathetic two storey extension to the rear, with careful details even down to matching the windows and fitting cast iron rain water goods. Whilst many period houses are a compromise on modern living, this one seamlessly blends the two with bright, double aspect rooms. I can just imagine sitting enjoying the last of the day’s sun on that wonderful verandah!
I can’t wait to start showing people around – just to see if they have the same reaction as me (I really didn’t want to leave).
